My teenage son was in a accident at 55 MPH. His Levi jeans were shredded but there wasn't a stich out of place on these riding pants. Totally awesome. He had many other injuries but nothing below the waist. Obviously, these pants could not withstand the EMT Sheers that the Paramedics used to cut them off. I'm definitely getting him another pair.

On a long ride in the Sierras recently I found some gravel in a hairpin turn and lowsided and these held up. My Revit textile jacket tore up, along with my 15oz Carhartt’s, but these leggings had no damage and saved my legs. If you don’t want to buy expensive bulky motorcycle specific pants but still be protected these are it.

just got mine in a S and I wish they would offer these in XS. I'm 5'4 and the S would covered my belly button with some extra fabric bunching around the ankles but the knee pads stay at the right place. You might have problem putting these on under skinny jeans and the California heat will make your bottom feels like a sauna. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, some access way in the front for restroom break would be amazing. I feel at ease with these on now after I scarred up my legs in an accident and to be honest, the knee pads are all you need, beside the fact that Kevlar will prevent your bums from getting bbq. Riding jeans are expensive and some are poorly fitted; this is the best option out there that will allow you to stay stylish but also well protected.

Wearing a pair of base layer gogogears as my only leg protection, they did a great job in preventing the road or the bike's protrusions from getting through.

The picture shows where the 500lb bike's shifter peg dug in just below my knee and continued to the other side, stopping where the top of my boot was.

The Kevlar base layer & knee protectors were intact, as was my skin, other than a small raspberry on my left knee from the initial impact.

I have shared how well these held up with numerous friends and recommend the base layer to every rider out there.

Comfortable, protective, easy to put on/take off, and affordable considering the coverage. My only suggestion is to provide pockets for hip & coccyx armor. I was wearing A* hip armored shorts underneath which provided impact absorbion. I have occasionally wore the base layer underneath some of my loose fit jeans as an alternate look that still protects, but have found the base layer looks great on their own and breathe well enough though the summer months and warm enough when it gets cold.

I'd like to thank Arlene & her staff for saving my knees and legs from rash and injury. Overall, this is a 5 star product. I'll be ordering a pair for my wife as well.

my GoGo base layer is well broken in, fist me like a glove, but show absolutely no sign of wear. This is a well-made product. I estimate I've done over 10k miles on my Street Triple wearing these leggings, and they feel great, and provide that sense of security that good gear gives a rider. Thankfully, I've never tested them in an accident, but my hunch is they'd do as well overpants, and probably better than kevlar jeans, as they fit better.

I should also note that my wife, who regularly rides, has worn her Gogo leggings for a year longer than me, and gave me the original incentive to get a pair. They look great on her, and she loves their style and protection.

I've just received my Kevlar Base Layer and they fit perfectly! They look brilliant with my Alpine Stars motorcycle shoes!

I high sided, came out over the bars and landed on my head and shoulder. I slid on my right knee along gravel. Lucky for me I was knocked out cold! I was lucky to escape with bruising and a concussion. I can't thank you enough for making such fab leggings, without a doubt they saved my legs from serious damage and road burn.

I just received my kevlar base layer, and I LOVE IT. I knew it would be robust, but I was still surprised at how sturdy and well constructed they really are! They fit very snugly, and the knee armor rests perfectly on my knees. I cannot wait to go for a ride to see how they feel when I’m on my iron horse.

These pants fit nice and firm like base layers. I haven't worn these in the Adelaide summer but during winter here you still need another layer underneath.
I like how the knee armour stays on your knee and not moving around like my Kevlar jeans (I have the draggin slix which are slim fit)
I've told all my friends about them...
I like the fact you can wear any pants with them. Cost effective to.
The only thing I would like is a Y opening for toilet breaks.
